George Washington’s hair sells for $17,000
Four locks of hair supposedly snipped from our first president has fetched $17,000 at auction. The hairs were given to Colorado resident Christina Allen by her father, a Philadelphia attorney. Dad says the hair has been passed down by generations of family members pressed between two pieces of glass. The story is that the hair was clipped while GW was disinterred in 1837. Just can’t let sleeping presidents lie, eh? The story prompted me to search my apartment for possibly valuable heirlooms from history. I found Howard Hughes’ toe-nail clippings and Mamie Eisenhower’s million dollar fudge recipe! Wooowee! I’m rich!

Isn’t it cute?… Been Nesting there since last night..,
What can I say about Ally Bawx except that those big green eyes love the camera and the camera loves ‘em right back. She’s also demonstrated a true bird’s nest right here in this BedHead. A flick through Ally’s flickr page reveals few pictures without Ally in them however, she works for the lense and from the other side - it looks just fine for us….. Thanks, Ally! Flash us some green……
