Timid in black and white. Oh no…not Jef Poskanzer. No. This guy follows color like a bloodhound after a baby with a dirty diaper.  The color reeks in his photographs. From laquer painted flames to shadows that scream just as brightly, Jef is a colorhound…Sunsets and graffiti and donut signs. It’s where you find it.

Yep..it doesn’t happen often but here we have 2 bedheads in one shot. I don’t know who the bloke is though he is sporting a rather nice flip. The lady, I believe is Regina Morales. A photographer from somewhere. A look through her Flickr page reveals travels to Cairo and Paris… Other than that, I can’t tell you much more biographically. Her profile says only that she is female.  There’s also a possibility that she’s friends with Saturday Night Live’s Fred Armisen. You be the judge…

I have to say she does look quite proud of that forward Poof.

When I first saw this picture, I thought immediately about the link between her raised right arm and her eyes. In reality, she’s holding a camera. But in this picture, Hannah Campbell is giving you something. You can tell what it is by looking in her eyes. She’s offering everything….

Hannah is an artist. She lives outside Athens, Georgia and has just graduated from Tulane University with a BFA in printmaking. Her Flickr site is an incredible journey of sketches, crafts and paintings that I will call “wild”. The natural world of muscles and animals and struggle is apparent throughout everything she does. It is wondrous, dynamic and savage. Her BedHead is equally dynamic. If you interpret it differently, let us all know…

Arron Williams is a self-taught photographer from Atlanta. He says he stumbled into photography in 2005 but you wouldn’t know it from his collection of photos. He’s a live music photog and if it was me up there hammer’n on my Takamine, I’d want him snapp’n the memories. One of the opening shots on his site is of Trey Anastasio and as you can see it looks like Aaron gets pretty good access at these gigs. The pictures are very clear and very real. As for his BedHead photo? I’d say Arron’s a perfect candidate for a Speed-o.
